Change begins with an evaluation, and at K9EC, we believe that understanding your canine companion is the first step towards a fulfilling and enriched life together. Our expert team, comprised of the best dog trainers (canine communicators) in Southwest Florida, Cryslte and Ryan, are here to guide you through this transformative journey.

The Evaluation Process:

When you and your furry friend step into K9EC, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where your dog’s well-being is our top priority. Our evaluation process is designed to get to know your dog on a deeper level, understanding their unique personality, strengths, and areas for growth.

Oliver's Star Puppy Course

The K9EC STAR Puppy Class is geared towards getting pups and their owners off to a great start and is going to be offered to pups between 8-16 weeks (4 months) of age. Training can typically start as soon as soon as your puppy has completed the first round of vaccines (with the approval of your veterinarian), which can be as early as eight weeks. The K9EC STAR Puppy certification is a great first step towards the Canine Good Citizen exam!

Curriculum includes:

Handling of ears and feet
Leash manners
Social skills
Basic commands such as:
Sit, Down and Come

Tucker's Obedience Class

Are you tired of the same old pet store obedience class
that promise results but falls short? It’s time to experience a training
program that goes beyond the ordinary pet store routine. Come discover your dog’s full potential with us and learn how to communicate with your canine companion like never before. Over the course of 5 weeks, we will tackle a wide range of unwanted behaviors and work towards improving them. Transforming you and your furry friend into the best you both can be!

Curriculum Includes:

Identifying Nuisance Behavior and stopping them in their Tracks.
All the Basics: Sit, Down, recall (come when called) etc.
“Yes” & “No”
Look “Queue”
Release
Wait & Stay. What’s the diff?
Drop it & Leave it. What’s the diff?
Wait vs. Leave it. Knowing the difference will save a life!
Loose Leash Walking (LLW) Fundamentals

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Class

This 5-week dog training group class is designed to prepare your dog to pass the CGC Test with flying colors! Your dog should already exhibit some level of obedience training before taking this class. This class is not required to take the CGC Test. Contact us to inquire about upcoming class schedules.
